COMBONI MISSIONARIES: Ordination to Priesthood

Fr. Revolledo Villanueva Eduardo Antonio (in photo, R) was ordained priest on December 21, 2019 by Comboni Bishop Luis Alberto Barrera at the Parroquia Cristo Misionero del Padre, in Lima, capital of Peru.

The ceremony was attended by numerous faithful, including Fr. Eduardo’s relatives, friends, confreres and the delegate superior of the Asia Delegation, Fr. David Domingues, (in photo, L) representing the Comboni missionaries working in the Asian continent where Fr. Eduardo did his missionary service as scholastic and deacon.

The newly-ordained priest made his novitiate in Mexico and studied theology in Kenya.

After having finished his theological studies, he was sent to Vietnam and thereafter to Taipei, in Taiwan, where he has been studying Mandarin. It was in Taipei that he made the perpetual vows in July 2019 and was ordained deacon afterward.

He will return to Taiwan to continue the study of Mandarin with the view of doing missionary work in the Chinese world.
