The life of the Filipino villages and parishes is built around the “Fiesta”, a yearly celebration of the Patron Saint which includes the preparations, the solemn Mass, the procession with the images of the Saint, the cooking, and the hospitality.
Vocation is a blessing from God and this is seen when we change the way we look at ourselves and reality.
Father Tarcisio, an Italian Comboni Missionary, had always believed in the use of mass media in catechesis, even before the publication of the Apostolic Exhortation Cathechesi Tradendae (on catechesis in our time) by Saint Pope John Paul II in 1979.
