In some countries, particularly in the U.S., pro-abortion groups are putting up strategies to enshrine into laws the right to abortion on demand. In order to counter this, pro-life advocates need to commit themselves to being legislative active.
Israel continues to brutally and immorally attack and kill innocent Palestinians, especially in Gaza. Hamas also attacked Israel, killing many innocent Israelis. This is a vicious cycle that can only be broken with justice and peace.
God has called us to be true prophets of His word. We must speak and live out His truth by imitating Christ and working towards a better world for everyone.
“Defend life” must be the clarion call of the followers of the God of Life! Because like no other time in history has human life, animal life, plant life, ocean life, life in all forms, and the earth which sustains life, come under fierce human attack.
The best-kept secret is that the Catholic Church is blessed with over 130 years of outstanding social justice and peace documents. Sadly, they attract more dust than readers. Catholic social teaching could become an effective tool for building a just and peaceful world.

Sadly, many wealthy nations continue to largely turn a blind eye to the desperate plight of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Pope Francis has condemned Europe’s treatment of migrants as “disgusting, sinful and criminal.”
