Catholic bishops and religious groups have denounced fossil fuel financing by the world’s biggest banks.
The Catholic bishops of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean have issued a statement calling for the “ambitious implementation of the Paris Agreement” and outlining the Church’s commitment to action ahead of COP30.
