The season of Lent prepared us for the celebration of Easter, as we reflected on God’s selfless sacrifice. Amidst the anxieties of the world, Easter remains significant for believers, as it inspires joy and sharing.
In the midst of a world dealing with conflicts, the pursuit of peace appears as an urgent mandate. As a community united by faith, our collective mission resonates—to nurture, embody, and spread the profound essence of peace.
Journeying together as one community impels each member of the community to walk on, bearing in mind that the Lord is the Vine, and we are the branches. As branches, we must always be connected to the Lord.
The values of self-giving, of compassion and the call to serve others are acquired in the family. As we thank the Lord for the first profession of vows of John Baptist, Peter and Simone, we are grateful to their families for supporting them throughout this journey.
Easter gives us an opportunity to celebrate the Risen Lord and to proclaim Him to all the nations. The community of St. Daniel Comboni Seminary, in communion with the Church, prepared itself to celebrate this great feast of our faith.
The Friends of the Mission Fiesta was once again an occasion of thanksgiving to God. Seminarians, friends, families, priests and brothers gathered in the compound of Saint Daniel Comboni Seminary on Dec 4, 2022 to celebrate this annual feast under the theme: “Mission Builds Fraternity”.
