Saint Paul writes that the elderly Patriarch Abraham continued to “hope against hope” (Romans, 4:18). Ultimately, God rewarded his faith-filled hope when he and his wife Sarah welcomed their son Isaac into the world. We can look to Abraham and other Christian saints as beacons of hope.
